Photographic Evidence

A little while go B and I were looking at some old photos, like OLD turn of the century ones. Everyone depicted looked so serious and we wondered if this was because having your picture taken was actually a serious affair when not everyone has a camera phone in their pocket.

In this context, the photograph was a literal "capture" of the scene, and could be trusted to depict reality from an objective, unedited perspective.

Now HP is offering a camera that allows you to edit photos, not just capture them. I might just use this to remove the "blemish" I put in the side of your Maserati.
